The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Central Luzon conducted a ceremonial turnover of leadership from outgoing Regional Director Atty. Anthony C. Nuyda to incoming Regional Director Araceli A. San Jose — a true passing of the torch from one Tatag Ng Agila to another.

Held on July 1, 2025, at the DILG Regional Office III, the event was graced by esteemed guests including the Provincial and City Directors of Central Luzon. Also in attendance were regional and local officers from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), who visited to express their support and solidarity with both the outgoing and incoming regional directors.

As the event unfolded, officials from Region III delivered heartfelt messages to RD Nuyda, honoring his steadfast leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to good governance. His time in service left a legacy marked by integrity, discipline, and excellence. "Wherever we are assigned, the mission continues," remarked Undersecretary for Local Government Marlo L. Iringan, in recognition of the lasting impact of the leaders who serve under the banner of DILG.

More than a formal transition, the ceremony was a celebration of service and a renewal.
